1. Find at least two naturally-occurring examples (not from a grammar or linguistic analysis of the issue) of implicatures. Both examples may be from the same discourse/text/dialogue/etc. Explain the reason for the implicature (as a result of a maxim or the violation/flouting of a mazim) and what the implicature is. Are there any conventional implicatures that affect the inferences you see or that rule out other implicatures in this context?
