Departmental Tour #2
We start this tour on the first floor in the department's television production facility. Here we will see preparation for the student-produced Cache Valley Headline News... ...two local news segments inserted daily on the Cable Headline News feed for Cache Valley viewers. Two of our students are going over scripts for today's tapings... . In the control room, Andy Hofmeister and Penny Byrne discuss technical aspects of the production. At this point, everything's just about ready to go...the script has been loaded into the teleprompter... ...and it's "showtime"... ...(click on the graphic for a Quicktime movie of the "news open"). In the control room... the technical crew gets ready to cue the anchor... ...and Cache Valley Headline News ...is on-the-air...
