Information Skills Curriculum, K-1

The following research skills scope and sequence chart is older, but may still be useful to new library media specialists as they devise their own integrated skills programs. The correlations indicated here are to Virginia's SOLs which are older. I have not correlated this chart with the new Virginia Standards of Learning Objectives in the subject disciplines. This scope and sequence chart was developed by the Calgary Board of Education and is c1976. I have "updated" some wording, for example from "books" to "materials.
