The following research skills scope and sequence chart is older, but may
still be useful to new library media specialists as they devise their own integrated skills programs. The correlations
indicated here are to Virginia's SOLs which are older. I have not
correlated this chart with the new Virginia Standards of Learning
Objectives in the subject disciplines. This scope and
sequence

was developed by the Calgary Board of Education and is c1976. I have
"updated" some wording, for example from "books" to
"materials.
